I tested this out this morning along with dear husband. Dear husband drinks coffee black and said this is a order again. I mix mine with protein powder and I really liked it. We are going to take it camping and test it around the campfire in the morning. I am thinking I need a new bag so I don't run short. I am putting this up against Berres Brothers in WI and I tell you I like them both. The coffee is just really good and smooth. I will post a follow up with a review from the campsite.

Corrected: "Climax" is a Amaretto, Irish Cream, Kahlua flavored coffee sold as 'Whole Bean' or already 'Ground' for drip coffee makers. I bought two bags, 5-lb each, to test the flavoring of freshly bought vs a year in storage. To me, as a senior citizen, both were good; however I prefer the more recently bought, so the sooner you use it (rather than storing), the better (stronger) the flavor. I enjoyed both, stored or fresh bought... in fact, I'm drinking it right now as I write this review. Recommendation -- use and enjoy it as you buy it; reserve storage for unflavored varieties, where 'Roasting alone' is what imparts taste. And like most things in my experience, flavorings universally seem to wane, dissipate, the longer one stores a product in the Pantry. But even after a year in storage, albeit a shade weaker in taste, whether ground or whole bean, both were good. Great Coffee from the Blackout Coffee Crew.

Black out coffee has the greatest tasting coffee. No bitter taste, just smooth flavors. Our favorites so far are Jamaica me crazy and Butterscitch toffee. I prefer the 5 lb whole bean bags.

Just got our 2nd 5lb bag of flavored beans!This bag is Climax, awesome flavors of Ameretto and Kailua, great combination. This coffee is smooth with no bitter aftertaste even when cold. Our first 5lb bag was Jamaica MeCrazy,another great flavor.Will definitely buy again and again.

Coffee is great, need to have Amazon to deliver to the house next time. He delivered my order 3 houses away. They need to concentrate on delivery more than their facebook page.
