No, it's not a "true" espresso drink because it was done on a Keurig machine but, I think the difference between the two is so slim you can read your morning e-mails looking through the difference!! The taste is clean, not dusty or gritty. That's what allows the flavor to shine! So far I've finished one 18CT box, I've three more in the cabinet and I will be back for more when those get low! THANK YOU BLACKOUT COFFEE!!

Was skeptical about a 5-lb bag of dark espresso roasted whole beans and if it would be bitter by the time we finished the bag. Pleasantly surprised! Filled up the hopper (multiple times!) of our Jura 10 coffee maker with Pitch Black and made coffee, espresso, Americanos over and over and over. Every cup was dynamite! Huge, rich flavor with a smooth bitter-free finish -- all the way to last bean in the bag! 6 Stars!

Been drinking this Pitch Black Espressor for about 2 years now and still love this coffee. Blackout ships fast too. I will be travelling in my motor home and every morning use my MOKA pot to cook up some amazing espresso.

After several attempts at trying different Blackout Coffee flavors, we finally found the one that works BEST for us: pitch black espresso. We originally tried brewal awakening because it was a dark roast, but the pitch black espresso has a deep, dark, robust flavor to get our mornings started. Both my husband and I don't miss a day without our newfound flavor of Blackout Coffee. THANKS guys, we LOVE it!

For us, the best of the coffees ordered through Blackout. We like the aroma when the beans grinded and used in our machine. The richness of the beans with that dark, wet look and strength is what we like. Make a mistake few days back reordering as we ordered Grind and we needed Whole Bean. No issue-- all future subscribed orders will be Whole Bean from here out.

Pitch Black Espresso is another dandy offering I’ve come to expect from Blackout Coffee. It has a nice, bold flavor that jolts you into your day. This is my second favorite coffee they make after Brewtal Awakening. If you haven’t given Blackout Coffee a try do so. They are a small company from Florida, and they stand by products.

I worked grave shift for years and was ready to pay a doctor 20 Menthol Kools to do a surgical shine job on my eyeballs. Now with Pitch Black Espresso pods, I'm cleared hot for any shift. Pods always have a reputation of being watered down, not the case with Pitch Black Espresso Pods!
