Real Customer Reviews
Read verified reviews, photos, and feedback from coffee drinkers who have made Blackout Coffee part of their daily routine.
Customers praised this cold brew for its "rich smooth flavor" and chocolate notes. Many said it's gentle on the stomach and "smooth as silk." The 5 LB bag offers great value. One concern: recent grind consistency has become finer, affecting gravity-based brewers. Overall, customers said it's "the best" with strong, non-bitter taste.
- Tons of chocolate notes and not bitter or acidic. Enjoy this black, nothing else is needed!
- Smooth as silk. I'll never go back to hot brewed coffee.
- It has a rich smooth flavor. Nothing better than the aroma when grinding.

Living in a Southwestern State, having Cold Brew coffee is a must. In 24 Hours, you have the best-tasting cold brew coffee ready to pour over ice, or heat if you prefer.
K
I ise this to make my cold brew steeped for 36 hours. Packs a pinch and gets me going on my way to work! Only approximately 8-10 oz with a little honey and cream (I also like to add a tbsp of cayenne)
L
Love the taste of this coffee, will keep drinking this coffee

You guy's rock!!! Received my order from Blackout Coffee in the mail in only two weeks. I ordered it Sept 26th with normal shipping right before the hurricane. Normal shipping from most companies takes a few weeks or so. Can't say enough about the integrity of these guy's and Jared Yanis of Guns and Gadgets for working so hard.

Start you day with a bang and pour yourself a cup of this brew. Hits the spot, best shot you'll do in the morning.
J
I've tried a variety of beans and roasts for my homemade cold brew and this blend is a bold medium roast with oaky and smoky hints of flavor that come through. It strikes a nice balance between the lighter flavors of a medium roast without the overly cocoa/malty flavors that can take over. As someone who prefers the lightness of a medium roast with the bolder flavors of a dark roast, the Cover OP Cold Brew Coffee is spot on.

I have been giving cold brew coffee a try since I really don't like hot coffee during the hot summer. Been brewing it myself since it can be pretty expensive at the store.
Decided to give this a try since it says cold brew in the name, also ultra smooth and having more caffeine. Also liked that it has a course grind option so I don't have to grind it myself.
It arrived and smelled great and I turned the whole bag into cold brew. Tastes great. Will be my go to for cold brew coffee.

This is really good coffee

Great tasting 😋

Either I didn't brew this style correctly or it isn't strong enough for me.
D
Awesome flavor profile, always top notch quality
M
Great product form a great company!
Recommended method:
150 grams of coarse-ground coffee
34 oz (about 4¼ cups) of room-temperature water
Stir thoroughly to make sure all the grounds are fully saturated
Cover and steep at room temperature for 6–12 hours
Strain through a standard coffee filter, fine-mesh sieve, or cheesecloth

Black out coffee is the best!! I love cold brew!
k
My first cups tasted different, I cleaned up everything and it was still a little bitter
A
Tastes great!
T
Very happy with the coffee overall. I've tried many different brands/types of cold brew beans and this is by far my favorite. Only complaint is that pre-ground used to be fairly coarse but every order I get seems more fine than the previous. This latest bag I received is so fine it's almost like espresso. I can use it in my Aeropress with Prismo filter still, but there's no way water would go through it in something like an Oxo cold brew maker that just uses gravity and not a press.
D
Good clean flavor. Love Covert cold brew!!
C
Nice tasting cold brew
M
The Cold Brew makes the best iced coffee. I have not had a hot cup of coffee since I became addicted to the cold brew!
F
Just Good coffee
B
WE love the flavor!!

Cold Brew makes a delicious rich iced coffee. It’s never bitter, even when I get to the bottom of the quart I make in advance. The coarse grind is perfect, nothing escapes through the mesh filter. I’ve been ordering from Blackout for at least several years now and I’ve tried their other products as well, I have never been disappointed and their shipping and delivery is always prompt.
B
I bought the Blueberry Crumble for iced coffee in the mornings. It is soooo delicious! Very smooth and not overpowering. Perfect amount of blueberry to coffee ratio!
D
Great coffee always and this makes the most awesome cold brew ever.
