Customers praised the variety and quality of items, with one noting "a great mixture of items" and another loving the limited run coffee. However, one customer calculated the retail value at $94.57, falling short of the advertised $100+ value, and questioned the exclusivity of vault items that appeared in later releases.

  • It was a great mixture of items!
  • Every content in this box was worth it!
  • I really liked the limited run coffee included

Overpromised Value & Questionable "Exclusivity

I snagged this Mystery Box at **50% off**, and thank goodness I did. Blackout Coffee claims these boxes contain **"over $100 in retail value,"** but the math proves otherwise.
**The Breakdown:**
* **Coffee/Drinkware:** 32ct Instant Coffee ($29.95), 20oz Tumbler ($22.95), Colonial Base Camp ($17.95).
* **Gear:** Mixing Wand ($9.99), Keychain ($7.75).
* **Stickers:** Two decals at a "retail" price of $2.99 each.
* **TOTAL:** **$94.57**
Even if you accept paying $3 for a sticker—which is crazy—the total still falls short of the $100+ promise.
**The "Vault" Contradiction:**
The box is supposed to feature "surprises from the vault," yet right after receiving the **Colonial Base Camp** coffee, I got a subscriber email offering it as a "new" limited release.
**Final Verdict:** At half price, it’s a decent haul. At full price, you’re being overcharged for a bundle that doesn't meet its own advertised value $110.

What a fun box! With all of the Blackout gear we already have, we only got 1 thing that we did have. But an extra blending wand is always appreciated.

Never have a complaint with any of the coffee I’ve tried.
Pleasantly surprised by what was in the box. I’m not a fan of flavored coffee but the choice they sent to me was great.
Always well worth the cost..
