Meet Jared Yanis.
Blackout Co-Owner · Guns & Gadgets
A longtime supporter of the Second Amendment, Blackout Coffee founder John Santos first connected with Jared Yanis through his YouTube channel, then known as Guns & Gadgets. Sharing a passion for the Second Amendment and the freedoms it protects, the two quickly connected. Jared became a partner just months after John and Rachael started Blackout Coffee in 2018, helping introduce the young company to the 2A community.
With 24 years of law enforcement experience, Jared continues to be an active voice in the Second Amendment community through his YouTube channel, public speaking, and appearances at 2A events nationwide. His channel, now named Jared Yanis (formerly Guns & Gadgets), has been a trusted source of 2A news and information for over a decade. Today, Jared remains a proud co-owner of Blackout Coffee.

Our Approach
Support That Goes Beyond A Bag Of Coffee.
A commitment that doesn't depend on sales.
We originally tied contributions to sales of our partner coffee roasts. But we wanted our support to be consistent, regardless of how many bags were sold.
So we moved to fixed monthly financial contributions to GOA, FPC, and SAF. That commitment continues every month, regardless of which Blackout coffee our customers choose.
