    Another flavored coffee Black Out has hit OUT OF THE PARK! As an admitted 'not a morning person' person .. life is much more enjoyable in the a.m. because of these wonderful coffee roasts! A little Italian Sweet Cream creamer mixed in and BAM .. early morning party! Start with freshly roasted whole beans from Blackout Coffee, grind them to a medium grind (similar to sand), and you’ll unlock rich aromas and balanced flavor in every sip.


    Steps:

    1. Grind your beans to a medium texture (like sand).
    2. Measure 2 tbsp of coffee per 6 oz of water.
    3. Add grounds to your coffee filter.
    4. Fill with water and start brewing.
    5. Enjoy a smooth, balanced cup.

    💡 Pro tip: For the best results, use filtered water and keep your coffee maker clean to prevent stale flavors.

    3. Pour-Over (Medium Grind)

    The pour-over method highlights the bright, clean flavors in your coffee, giving you full control over the brew. Start with freshly roasted whole beans and grind them to a medium texture (like sand).


    Steps:

    1. Place a filter in your pour-over dripper and rinse it with hot water to remove paper taste.
    2. Grind medium and measure 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water.
    3. Add grounds to the filter, then start by pouring just enough hot water to saturate them.
    4. Let bloom for 30 seconds — this releases carbon dioxide for better flavor.
    5. Pour slowly in gentle circles until you reach the desired water amount.
    6. Enjoy a clean, aromatic cup.

    5. Moka Pot (Medium-Fine Grind)

    The Moka pot brews rich, concentrated coffee with an intensity similar to espresso. For best results, use freshly roasted whole beans ground medium-fine, slightly finer than drip but not as fine as espresso.


    Steps:

    1. Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve.
    2. Grind medium-fine and fill the filter basket with coffee — don’t pack it down.
    3. Assemble the Moka pot and place it over medium heat.
    4. Listen for a gentle gurgling sound — that’s your coffee brewing.
    5. Remove from heat when the top chamber is full.
    6. Serve immediately for maximum flavor.


    💡 Pro tip: Preheat your water before adding it to the Moka pot to reduce bitterness from over-extraction.
