Slow Cooking with Coffee

I love using my slow cooker. Over the weekend my dad had a craving for pulled pork. So early Sunday morning I put a five pound piece of pork loin into the slow cooker. To that I added two cups of very strong coffee and a 1/4 of barbeque sauce. The flavors together sound strange but really work together. I set it to cook for six hours. It turned out absolutely perfect. The pork separated very nicely and made an incredible sandwich. My dad prefers more barbeque sauce (he added a bit more on top) but said the flavor with the coffee was really good (better than he had expected). The leftovers the next day tasted even better. Certain flavors really seem to go well with coffee. Chocolate (not used in this recipe), cinnamon (not used in this recipe) and barbeque sauce.
