Original Turkey Recipe for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving will soon be here and things will be getting more hectic everywhere, especially in the stores. Plan early and start thinking about that holiday coffee. This recipe features mouth-watering fresh homemade cranberry mustard and just tastes like Thanksgiving. It just might start a new tradition!
Cranberry-Mustard Thanksgiving Turkey
Turkey, whole or breast
½ cup yellow mustard seed
½ cup brown mustard seed
Water, beer or wine for soaking mustard seeds
½ cup apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
Couple dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 C cranberries: 1C puréed, 1C cut in halves
¼ cup honey
Rice or favorite stuffing
Soak seeds 4 hours, drain liquid.
Process in food processor to normal mustard consistency.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Use as turkey baste.
Prepare turkey for roasting - remove giblets, rinse out cavity.
Stuff turkey loosely and bake in roaster.
Baste with sauce several times during roasting.
Preheat oven - 325 degrees, 25 minutes per pound
