Dulce de Leche Affogato Iced Latte
This simple recipe converts one of my favorite affogato combinations into an iced drink, which I find easier to sip/enjoy on the go. “Dulce de leche” is a thick, caramel-like milk-based spread. The Häagen Dazs version of it is readily available in most grocery stores.

Ingredients
- 1 scoop of Häagen Dazs Dulce de Leche ice cream
- 1 double shot of espresso (preferably a sweet, chocolate-heavy blend)
- 4 large ice cubes
- 6 oz. milk of choice
Directions
- Start by scooping the ice cream into your cup
- Pull your espresso shot
- Pour the espresso over the ice cream, creating an affogato
- Give the affogato a good stir, mixing ice cream and espresso together into a slurry
- Add ice
- Pour your milk over the top
- Stir again and enjoy!
Suggestions: Garnish with stroopwafel or Biscoff cookie crumbles/slivers. Toffee bits would also work nicely.
