Outdoorsman and Youtube Creator Zachary Fowler is a Vermont native who moved to Maine to become a wooden boat builder. Although building classic wooden boats was a passion and skill, Zachs real love was always for the outdoors.
This would be expressed by his years providing for his family, occupying an off-grid Yurt style home, and living a self-sufficient lifestyle.
Fowlers enthusiasm for the outdoors and strong work ethic was proven when he applied for, and won History channels “Alone” show, where he survived for 87 days in Patagonia, eating only 63 fish and 2 birds. After winning the show Fowler chose to start his own Youtube channel where he could reach an audience and share his appreciation and knowledge of the great outdoors through video series such as the “30 Day Survival Challenge” and “Trick-Shot-Tuesday”.WATCH ON YOUTUBE
First of all, Blackout coffee is the BEST coffee I have ever had. I have tried many of their blends now and have yet to have a bad cup of coffee. I just like some more than others. So don't hesitate to try any particular kind. They will also send you free samples to try before you buy.
Fowler's is an excellent, full bodied medium blend and it's hard to say which I like better, the Fowler's or Morning Reaper because they are both excellent medium roast coffees.
The customer service is 2nd to none and they are pro everything that matters. I told them my son was in the Army and they asked me for his address to add to their Operation Blackout, where they send free coffee to the troops.
They donate to veteran's causes and are pro 2A. They sponsor Guns & Gadgets YouTube channel about all things 2A.
You just cannot go wrong with this family business, in Florida. Idk how they do it, but their coffee is so much fresher and better than anything store bought. Better than anything I have ever had in my 57 years.
I recently grabbed a cup of coffee at a mini mart whose coffee I used to like. I ended up dumping it out, I couldn't drink it. 😄😝
I'm a Blackout family customer for life, and I will never go back to store bought. If you're on the fence about trying Blackout coffee ? Go for it, I promise you won't regret it. But you will become a coffee snob and not be able to tolerate anything else 😃🖤☕🤎
Fowlers Makery And Mischief Coffee Roast
I have tried a few of the roasts from BOCC. 2A and Fowler’s are at the top of the list. With Fowler’s just edging out the top spot. I brought the bag of Fowler’s with me down to Florida to have while on vacation. I use to be a BRCC person. Switched to BOCC a couple months ago. I’ve tried getting my wife to drink the other brands coffee for over 2 years. She never found a roast she liked from them. Have made a few pots of Fowler’s this week. She gave me the. This is some good coffee. So this roast will be on my regular purchase membership. While I continue to work thru the other couple roasts to see if there is one that tops this one.
When I opened my first bag of Fowler’s Makery and Mischief i was pleased with the aroma of the very finely ground beans. I picked up the chocolate undertones immediately. That is a plus for me. I have be drinking light roast coffee recently and for about a year so I was anxious to see how this medium roast allowed the flavors to pop. I was also intrigued by the fine grind on the coffee. I drip my coffee and have bee been used to seeing a little coarser grind. I almost felt this would clump and not give a good accounting of itself through my Ninja. This coffee has done so great that it has become my daily favorite. Cannot say enough about how great the customer service and the coffee is a Black Out Coffee. My personal favorite!
Blackout Coffee's "Fowler blend" is exceptionally smooth and has excellent flavor. Order some for yourself and find out!
Oh man....first non-5-star review. Well...someone has to do it. The Fowlers Makery And Mischief Coffee was good...had a very nice smooth flavor. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that I had to use more grounds to get the same "intensity" of flavor as Morning Reaper (with less grounds)...so my coffee was used up quicker (never a good thing). Good flavor though. I prefer Fowlers to the flavor of Morning Reaper....which I also like.
Good smooth taste, rich flavor!
