Not your best flavor

SOme of your flavored coffees, like Bananas Foster, I find do not quite nail the flavor they are after. But, I can say, that tastes good none the lest. Not true for the Carrot Cake. Not only does it not taste like Carrot Cake, even remotely, it is the first coffee I've gotten from Blackout that tastes, at best Meh.

Maybe I just got a bad bag. Unlike every other flavored coffee, it had no odor whatsoever. Even Cookiedoodle, a somewhat understated (but good) flavored coffee, has a noticeable Cookiedoodle odor. This is true for all flavored coffees (and I have tried most of them at least once), from a nice mild odor to quite significant, like the Blueberry Crumble. Not my bag of very meh Carrot Cake.

I guess, I'll use it to lessen some darker roasts, when I don't want their full flavor.

The coffee is good however, there isn’t a distinctive ‘Carrot Cake’ flavor to it. It just tastes like coffee to me

Oooh that's nice!

When you open the bag there's this delicious aroma of store-bought cream cheese frosting, which is kinda cool. And once brewed the smell and taste of spice cake is stronger, with a bit of creamy vanilla underneath. But oh, it's a nice treat! I really, really enjoy the Carrot Cake and found it goes very well with pumpkin spice coffee creamer—so I do hope it's back in stock before PSL season is over. Will definitely continue to repurchase when I can, though.
